Paramount Roofing: A Company That “Bleeds Green” for Oxford
When you meet Eric Reno of Paramount Roofing, his enthusiasm for home exteriors is immediate. Eric explains that the company specializes in roofing, siding, and gutters in the Oxford area.
Homeowners often come to him with familiar concerns: How old is my roof? When should I replace it? Can I wait another year? Before giving advice, Eric starts with basics such as how old the house is and what the roof looks like, and then he schedules a free inspection. “We take photos, check the attic, look at ventilation, insulation, and the plywood deck; then we make recommendations.”
Gutters are another common issue. While aluminum lasts a long time, seams and downspouts do not. Ice, lawn equipment, and debris can cause damage or clogs. Corners that drip or downspouts that fail are signs it is time for repair or guards.
Siding, Eric says, is where homeowners can truly customize. Today’s siding options, including vinyl, composite, LP, and Hardie, allow for modern, classic, or craftsman looks. Paramount uses 3D home imaging so customers can see colors and styles on their actual home before installation. “Just like on HGTV,” Eric says.
Paramount installs a wide range of roofing materials, from traditional asphalt to rubber shingles, luxury lines for historic homes, and multiple types of metal roofing. They also handle metal accents, porches, and mixed material designs. With winter approaching, some homeowners worry about timing. Manufacturers prefer shingles installed above 40 degrees, so many projects wait until spring. “We offer a free roof tune up to get you through winter,” Eric says. In emergencies, the team clears snow and completes repairs, although cleanup takes extra care.
Eric is an active supporter of the Oxford Chamber. He enjoys the large community events as well as the smaller networking gatherings. Paramount also partners with many local businesses, referring work back and forth.
One of Eric’s biggest community commitments is the R & E Family Foundation, a local nonprofit that packs lunches for children in need. “Every Wednesday, at least two team members show up to pack lunches,” he says. A portion of every roof sold is donated, and Paramount sponsors the organization’s events as well.
Eric says the real heart of Paramount is its culture. Their phrase “bleed green” represents pride, ethics, and treating every project like a relationship. “We carry ourselves the same way whether we are on the job or at the grocery store,” he says.
The team also participates in volunteer efforts such as the Oxford leaf cleanup. “One of the stars in our five star experience is community,” he says. “Each of us has a responsibility to make the community better.”
As we wrap up, Eric offers a final thought. “Thank you to the Oxford community for supporting us, and thanks to the Chamber for putting on all the great events.” Paramount is also one of several sponsors that helps make the Oxford Christmas Parade such a wonderful community event, and the Chamber is truly grateful for their generosity and support.
