Apothecary & Co: A Blend of Wellness, Pharmacy, and Community
For those unfamiliar with The Apothecary & Co, Hillary Howell wants the Oxford community to know that it is not only a wellness boutique but also a fully functioning pharmacy. “We are a normal pharmacy,” she explains. “We don’t take insurance, but that doesn’t mean we’re not accessible. We’re a cash-based pharmacy focused on personalized care.”
In addition to pharmacy services, The Apothecary & Company offers wellness and nutrition consultations, custom-compounded medications such as bioidentical hormones and pet prescriptions, and a wide selection of high-quality supplements. Hillary and her team emphasize a holistic approach to health that combines traditional pharmacy services with natural wellness support.
“We’re here to help people take charge of their health,” Hillary says. “If anyone has questions, we encourage them to reach out and learn more.”
Hillary from The Apothecary & Company is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce and appreciates the networking opportunities it provides. “I really like the Coffee Connects because of the chance to meet people and build community connections,” she says. Hillary will be hosting one of these member events on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 8-9am.
When asked about what she would like to see from the Chamber in the coming year, Hillary shared that she values the current programs but would welcome “a fresh new look and new ideas.” Overall, she feels the Chamber continues to do great work in supporting local businesses.
