Located at 43 East Burdick Street in downtown Oxford, Burdick Street Equipment has been a reliable resource for lawn, garden, and snow equipment for more than a decade. Tyler Stoll, general manager, describes the business simply and confidently. “If it grows outside, we probably have a way to cut it down,” Stoll said. “Or throw it somewhere.”

Burdick Street Equipment has served the community since 2009-2010 and specializes in sales, parts, and service for outdoor power equipment. The dealership carries leading brands including Gravely, Scag, and STIHL, offering everything from zero-turn mowers and push mowers to chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and snowblowers.

The business operates a full-service center and a fully stocked parts department. “Anything that we sell, we will service, and we will have parts for,” Stoll said. “We generally keep most parts in stock.”

Like many service-based businesses, Burdick Street Equipment experiences its busiest seasons in spring and summer. Stoll encourages customers to think ahead when it comes to maintenance. “It sounds kind of counterintuitive, but the best thing you can do is bring your lawn equipment in during the winter and your snow equipment in during the summer,” he said. “That’s the best way to keep your time frames easy and correct.”

During winter months, the shop focuses heavily on snow equipment sales and service, while summer brings peak demand for lawn and garden tools. In addition to equipment sales and repairs, the business offers limited landscape supply items during the summer season.

One of the biggest events of the year is the annual open house, scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 10am to 3pm. Held the first Saturday in May, the event features manufacturer representatives, free food, and some of the best pricing customers will see all year. “It’s the best day of the year to buy a lawnmower, snowblower, or push mower,” Stoll said. “We run some really great deals.”
