With years of experience as an auto mechanic, including 25 years specific to the Audi brand, Ryan discovered his passion for heavy equipment while managing his own hunting property in Leonard. Frustrated by the lack of local services, he saw a wonderful opportunity to immerse himself in nature doing something he truly enjoyed. “I fell in love with the equipment and the results, which inspired me to start my own business,” Boulton said. “I wanted to offer this to others in my community who may also have struggled to find such services.”

Booner Land Management primarily serves Oxford, Lake Orion, Holly, Davisburg, Ortonville, Clarkston and southern Lapeer County – within a 45 minute radius of central Oxford. While his machine handles most small to medium trees, Ryan partners with local tree services for larger removals. “Last year, I collaborated with a local tree service – I cleared all of the small vegetation, creating access to the larger trees,” he shared. “Both teams worked perfectly together, and the client was very happy with our results.”

Ryan’s family assists by providing administrative and technical support – he hopes to eventually pass his growing business on to his daughters.
